When you create an account, you give us basic information such as your email address and date of birth. Phone number is optional and only collected if you choose to provide it.

When you complete your profile, you share additional details about you, such as your gender, interests, preferences, approximate location, and fitness goals. You control what you share.

If you grant permission, we process your contacts locally by hashing phone numbers. Only these anonymized hashes are sent to our servers to help you find friends already on GYMRAT. We never store your raw contact list or see actual phone numbers.

  • Consent Records: 5 years to comply and evidence compliance with applicable law
  • Customer Care Exchanges: 6 years from the date of communication

If you decide to stop using our service, you can close your account and your profile will no longer be visible to other members. Note that we will close your account automatically if you are inactive for two years.
